See I know I left you standing on third street
forget to pick you up
lost track of time
now were standing on 12th street;i'm confused
see i have this funny feeling that your fooling around
i know the earth is round and
the sun isn't always shining and
that the moons shines at night and
bats fly at night and
the owls watch at night and
the rooster crow in the morning
see you must think I think that;
bats fly in the daylight
owls watch in the early morning and
the roosters crow at night
drop the bottle pick up the smoke shit i'm still addicted
whether it be you or me we got this situation confused and
your fooling around see
I thought I saw you once upon a time but you weren't putting my glass slipper on my foot see I merely had a vision that you were my Prince
see I like the simple pleasures of playing tic tac toe scrabble connect four and
monopoly but see here what we got ain't
no diagonal horizontal make the word love for 5 points or
recruiting red and black more than once
going around the world back to jail buying property and constantly at that bank to purchase a house on Pennslvania Avenue
see you aren't a Parker Brother you are my Brother and
I thought the day that I met you we were going to be together
See you got this sister here twisted thinking
that I don't know your fooling around
See I ran the ocean swam the boardwalk and flown on the ground
I know what it's all about and
your eyes don't decieve me
see what you forget is that past all the arguing fighting and shoving and pushing
that I still can hear see and talk although
I don't chose to doesn't mean i'm not paying attention
now we have walked down to 6th street we're kind of in the middle of it all
traffic walks past us pedestrians drives past us
but that fact of the matter is your fooling around
oh no i'm not scared or afraid to confront look her my brother
we both came from the same mother
we came from the same green earth
we both see the same moon rise in the morning and I've been fooling around!

QUOTE OF THE DAY
I ALWAYS SAY THAT "BEING SUCCESSFUL SHOULDN'T BE MEASURED BY YOUR WEALTH BUT YOUR WEALTH SHOULD BE DETERMINED BY HOW SUCCESSFUL YOU ARE IN CHANGING A LIFE, FULFILLING YOUR DREAMS AND SATISFIED OF WHO YOU WERE AND BECAME."

I'm my own woman! I do my OWN thing! and I definitely don't need to share with you what's going on with me! I have my OWN kind of way of thinking , I have my OWN prerogative . You worry about yours and I'm going to be fine worry about mines!

JUST A LITTLE POEM FOR THE WEEK
OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Ando it began
Like a song on repeat
It became repetitive
It became a remembrance
It reminded me of something
Something that was familiar
Something that was more
; Than likely to happen to me
Something that I’d done before
Couldn’t put my mind on it
Couldn’t allocate it
Couldn’t describe it; but
It happened over and over again
Like the beginning words of this poem
Like the ending words of this poem
Like the stanza of this poem
It became annoying to me
It became a feeling of déjà vu
It became more clear to me that
Something was reoccurring
Something occurred before
Something happened; over and over again
Couldn’t put my mind on it,
Like pressing pause of this tape playing,
It was a feeling,
Something usual but strange and uninviting
Don’t know why can’t describe it but it keeps happening
OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
