I'm my own woman! I do my OWN thing! and I definitely don't need to share with you what's going on with me! I have my OWN kind of way of thinking , I have my OWN prerogative . You worry about yours and I'm going to be fine worry about mines!

JUST A LITTLE POEM FOR THE WEEK

OVER AND OVER AGAIN

Ando it began
Like a song on repeat
It became repetitive
It became a remembrance
It reminded me of something
Something that was familiar
Something that was more
; Than likely to happen to me
Something that I’d done before
Couldn’t put my mind on it
Couldn’t allocate it
Couldn’t describe it; but

It happened over and over again

Like the beginning words of this poem
Like the ending words of this poem
Like the stanza of this poem
It became annoying to me
It became a feeling of déjà vu
It became more clear to me that
Something was reoccurring
Something occurred before
Something happened; over and over again
Couldn’t put my mind on it,
Like pressing pause of this tape playing,
It was a feeling,
Something usual but strange and uninviting
Don’t know why can’t describe it but it keeps happening

Why Do The Seasons Change?

An African American book comprised of short stories in correlation to the four seasons. Its filled with drama , love , laughter, and real life circumstances. A must read that you wont be able to put down.

An Excerpt from the book:

As the wind blew against the smoothness of my nape I was suddenly awaken by the strength of his hands on my lower back. The feeling was familiar to me I had felt before. He quickly turned me around thrusted his body against mines covered my mouth with his right hand ;he was strong I leaned my head back to only see the leaves of deep orange red and copper tones falling. He ripped the plum dress that covered my chocolate toned body.He penetrated my womanhood with his hands feeling around suggesting to get my body ready for something I wasnt prepared for I couldnt see his face he had covered it with a face mask at first I didn't want to cry but ,tears rolled down my face landing on his hand which he had never moved from my mouth so that the sounds of screams could be muffled he never uttered a word im guessing so I wouldn't recognize him I didnt put up a fight because I know it only would make him angry and more violatile so I lyed there as he now thrusted his manhood inside of me it was painful unenjoyable. He pushed my legs all the way back until they reached my shoulders it put me in a more discomforting place it only allowed him to go deeper and deeper the pain was now become excruitating deeper silent crys rang out amongst the walls of my apartment. I wish I wasn't here alone or someone would sense my deep cry for help and just walk in just like he did. I can't believe what was occurring to me it was unbelieveable uninviting .The ten minutess of pain finally ended with him ejaculating on my stomach and walking out my apartment pulling his pants up without uterring any words . I sat there cried, yelled and banged on the walls.I didn"t know whether to call the police but what could they do for me I didn't identify the individual. I went into my bathroom ran a hot bath sat in it and cried tears rolled down my face for hours my womanhood still throbbed with pain. I vowed to never trust another man or maybe even woman with my body......
